World Population Day Every year, on the 11th of July, we come together to observe World Population Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about the significance of population-related issues in our world today. Established by the United Nations in 1989, this day serves as a reminder of the delicate balance between growing populations and the resources available to sustain them. As an educational institution, we believe it is our responsibility to nurture awareness among our young learners about the world they are growing up in. Population growth touches every aspect of life — from access to education and healthcare, to the availability of clean water, food security, and environmental sustainability. By helping our students understand these connections early, we hope to inspire them to become thoughtful, responsible global citizens. We encourage our students to reflect on how small individual actions, when multiplied across communities, can make a meaningful difference in building a sustainable future. Whether it is through conserving resources, respecting the environment, or understanding the importance of family planning and gender equality, every conversation counts. On this World Population Day, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering awareness, empathy, and responsibility in the hearts and minds of our students — the changemakers of tomorrow.
